One of the greatest frustrations that residents have regarding government is that so much of it goes on behind the scenes. We have our big Commission meetings twice a month, but the reality is that it’s just a drop in the bucket of just how much gets done by all of our departments and their employees.
Commissioner David Shelton has worked to help bring complex government topics to the public, whether it be the workings of our Juvenile Court and Youth Services procedures, or carefully explaining the property assessment process. Questions almost always arise, and Commissioner Shelton makes every effort to answer those questions clearly.
